Inform Congregation Beth Yeshua and other audiences via media venues (newsletter, posters, slideshows, etc.) of the goals, policies, and activities of the Shabbat School. This committee will also arrange for set-up of displays, posters, etc. every Shabbat prior to services and removal of same after services. David Johnston, and Jason Whiteare honorary members of this team. Any team needing to get the word out will provide info to PA team for distribution. |

Resources / Inventory Control

Monitoring and organizing the supplies and finished goods by various accounting/reporting methods; compile and maintain an inventory ledger showing quantities along with periodic inventory counts to provide monthly/quarterly requirements to the Shabbat School directors. |

Assist Shabbat School directors to accomplish the goals of CBY Shabbat School by helping to develop and deliver training programs to the school’s staff; recruit and schedule teacher/assistants/substitutes; help with administrative tasks involving background checks for teachers/assistants; ensure that new teachers/assistants have access to experienced educators who can assist them; ensure parents/teachers/assistants new to CBY Shabbat school receive a welcome packet (ie School policies/procedures, background check materials, etc.). |

Research, identify, and obtain funding sources to support the goals of CBY’s Shabbat school. |

Holy Days / Activities

Identify and plan activities for the Shabbat School’s youth during G-d’s Holy Days and/or special CBY occasions; activities also include support of CBY missions and community outreaches. |
Preparation

Assist directors with preparation of classrooms and foyer each Shabbat (ie placing bins and snacks in classes, etc.) prior to school start; prepares bins and ensures classrooms are ready for the next Shabbat. |
Education/Curriculum

CBY Shabbat school utilizes Golden Apples curriculum to educate our youth, however, some activities are too involved for some of the classes or more extensive than time or resources will allow; thus this team will plan and provide alternate activities/lesson plans based on Golden Apples. Also this team provides ideas and planning for other activities to enhance the learning experience for our youth, including field trips, games/puzzles, crafts, etc. |
